We’d like to welcome Colorado native Sam Jones, a guard from Arizona St, to the Broncos as our 6th Rd pick. He’s a gritty, hard-nosed player who will compete on the interior of our OL. pic.twitter.com/Kjf9PoHDHv

As a three-year starter at ASU, Jones earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention at left guard in 2017. He started a total of 32 games at left guard and both tackle positions on the offensive line over his ASU tenure.
Jones spent four years in Tempe and decided to forego his final year of eligibility declaring for the draft as a redshirt junior, a decision which was partially influenced by the firing of Todd Graham, according to NFL.com.
Jones, at 6-foot-5, 305 pounds, posted a 5.32 40-yard dash and 28 reps on the bench press at the 2018 NFL Combine.
