Arizona football adds outside linebackers coach Andy Buh

University of Arizona football announced on Friday that Andy Buh was hired as the team’s outside linebackers coach under head coach Kevin Sumlin.
Buh joins an Arizona coaching staff that turned over a few coaches — like defensive coordinator Marcel Yates and defensive assistant John Rushing — who were fired this past season. Hank Hobson is currently the linebackers coach.
“Andy brings a track record for development and teaching that fits perfectly with our program,” Sumlin said in a statement. “His meticulous work ethic, love for the game and passion for having an impact on his players will be a great asset to our entire program.”
Buh was most recently the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at Rutgers this past year. Before that, he worked at Maryland for three seasons.

Buh’s resume also includes coaching assistant stops at Kentucky, Cal, Wisconsin, Nevada, Stanford, Fresno State and San Diego State. When he was at Stanford, he was part of a defensive staff that coached Richard Sherman.
He played his college football at Palomar College and Nevada.
