In what has become a yearly tradition for the Commander-in-Chief, President Barack Obama has joined other local politicians in filling out his NCAA Tournament bracket for both the men’s and women’s tourney.

As it pertains to the ladies, Obama has Arizona State — the No. 3 seed in the Greensboro Region — marching all the way to to tournament’s second weekend, knocking off first round opponent Ohio and Arkansas-Little Rock in the round of 32 before ultimately falling to No. 2 seed Florida State in the Sweet Sixteen.

Obama is apparently bullish on the Pac-12’s chances in the women’s tournament this year, as the Sun Devils join California, Oregon State and Stanford in the Sweet Sixteen. The Beavers are the only team from the conference advancing to the Elite Eight in Obama’s bracket.

The Sun Devil women embark on their quest to the Final Four in Tampa Bay this Saturday vs. No. 14 seed Ohio Bobcats. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. and can be seen online at ESPN3.com.
