Through the NFL’s first six weeks, there is one and only one elite team.

The Kansas City Chiefs survived a fourth-quarter shootout on the road in Houston to beat the Texans, 42-34. Alex Smith continues to play tremendous football as the veteran completed 29-of-37 for 324 yards and three touchdowns. Smith had only six career 300-yard games before this season. In 2017, he has two. He’s the league’s MVP at this point for the NFL’s best team.

As such, the Chiefs held on to the No. 1 spot for another week.

Here’s a look a the 1-32 pecking order heading into Week 6.

Ties will go to the team that receives the majority of higher rankings from our panel.
