ASU honors Pat Tillman, vets with ‘Brotherhood’ uniforms

Arizona State will honor the late Pat Tillman with a “Brotherhood” uniform set for the Sun Devils’ Nov. 4 home game against the Colorado Buffaloes.
“Obviously, the most important thing to me is what we’re celebrating that week and that’s the people who put their life on the line and are sacrificing for us everyday (so) that we can do this game like we do it,” ASU coach Todd Graham said. “So few pay the price for so many in this country. I know sometimes I think we take that for granted.”

The drab-colored jerseys and pants are complemented by a similarly-colored helmet that also includes subtle camouflage.
Along with the Sun Devils’ standard maroon and yellow forks running along each side of the helmet, the backs will feature a list of former ASU vets with a bold “BROTHERHOOD” sitting over the list.
The Sun Devils also will wear a Tillman-inspired set of receiving gloves with the PT-42 logo on the palms.
