The Pac-12 released its 2018 football schedules on Thursday, and several games involving the Arizona State Sun Devils and Arizona Wildcats stand out.
For ASU, the season-opener against UTSA will be followed by a showdown with the Michigan State Spartans at Sun Devil Stadium on Sept. 8. San Diego State rounds out the nonconference schedule.
Against the Pac-12, ASU has one Thursday night game at home against Stanford on Oct. 18 that could draw primetime viewership.
Arizona State’s bye on Oct. 13 comes after their sixth game and is sandwiched between a road game against Colorado and the outing against the Cardinal.
Meanwhile, the Wildcats will open the year on Sept. 1 against BYU. They also play at Houston and at home against Southern Utah before hitting conference action. There, Arizona will play Friday games on Oct. 13 at Utah and Nov. 2 at home against Colorado. Homecoming is Oct. 27 against Oregon.
The bye week for the Wildcats comes after 10 games, between the matchup with the Buffaloes and a visit to Washington State.
