The Arizona Cardinals are among eight teams in search for a new head coach following the firing of Steve Wilks on Monday.

Many coaches have been contacted for job openings around the league, including former head coach of the Cardinals Bruce Arians.

Arians has previously expressed interest in coaching only for the Cleveland Browns, who now have an opening following the firing of Hue Jackson in October.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the 66-year-old Arians would reportedly ‘listen’ if he was contacted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He told Rapoport that his relationship with general manager Jason Licht is what could lure him to the job.

Arians coached the Cardinals from 2013-2017 where he earned two playoff appearances and three seasons of 10 or more wins. He won AP Coach of the Year in 2014 following Arizona’s 11-5 record, which tied a franchise record for most wins in a season.

The former Cardinals coach retired following last season, finishing with an 8-8 record. Arians has nearly 40 years of coaching experience including college and the pros.

He has coached high-profile quarterbacks in Peyton Manning and Ben Roethlisberger and would have a chance to help reshape Jameis Winston’s career coming off of his worst season.
