Cardinals get to work adding undrafted free agents after 2019 NFL Draft

Just because the 2019 NFL Draft is over doesn’t mean the Arizona Cardinals are done adding youth to the roster.
With talent still available, the team now turns to free agency.
Below is a full list of the undrafted free agent additions the Cardinals have signed and invited to their rookie mini-camp:
Xavier Turner — Running Back, Tarleton Texans

Adding more depth to the running back position, the Arizona Cardinals signed Tarleton Texans RB Xavier Turner as a priority undrafted free agent.
In two seasons (25 games) with the Texans, Turner compiled 2,234 yards and 33 touchdowns on 377 carries. He had a stellar 2018 campaign where the running back put up nearly 1,500 yards and 22 touchdowns. He averaged 6.4 yards per carry and 113.0 per game.
The 5-foot-10, 225-pound running back was named to the All-LSC (Lone Star Conference) First Team and was named Offensive Back of the Year for his performance in 2018.

Drew Belcher — TE, Maine
The Cardinals invited undrafted University of Maine Black Bears tight end Drew Belcher to mini-camp after the conclusion of the NFL Draft.

Initially playing quarterback for his first two seasons at Maine, Belcher made the switch to tight end his final two years, reeling in a total of 63 receptions for 590 yards and four scores.
Belcher was the most productive his senior season, catching 46 balls for 357 yards and a touchdown.
Ryan Pulley — CB, Arkansas
Looking to the defensive side of the ball, the Cardinals signed Arkansas cornerback Ryan Pulley as a priority undrafted free agent.

In 30 games with the Razorbacks (three seasons), the redshirt junior made 93 total tackles, 4.0 of which were for loss, 1.0 sacks, three interceptions and six passes defensed. He also had an interception return for a touchdown and a forced fumble.
In 2018, his 37 tackles and three picks led all Razorback defenders, receiving his highest Pro Football Focus grade of his career (75.6)
Tariq Cole — OL, Rutgers
The Cardinals brought in another offensive lineman after the NFL Draft, signing Tariq Cole as a priority undrafted free agent.

Playing in 42 games over four seasons with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, the redshirt senior was a part of offensive line that ranked second in the Big Ten and No. 19 nationally with just over a sack a game allowed.
Cole was named as an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2016 and 2017, and the 6-foot-6, 317-pound lineman was also named to Athlon Sports’ Preseason Third Team All-Big Ten.
During his time at Rutgers, Cole spent time at left guard and in special teams before making the move to left tackle in 2016.
James Folston Jr — LB, Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh linebacker James Folston Jr. signed as an undrafted free agent with the Cardinals following the NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound LB recorded 47 tackles and 1.5 sacks in four seasons as a Panther. His best season came his junior year when Folston made 21 tackles and a sack.
A.J. Richardson — WR, Boise State

In four seasons with the Broncos, the wideout made 99 catches for 1,474 yards and 11 touchdowns.
In 2018, the 6-foot, 212-pound redshirt senior averaged 4.2 receptions per game, finishing the year with 54 receptions for 825 yards and eight scores.
Drew Anderson — QB, Murray State
The Cardinals are bringing in Murray State quarterback Drew Anderson as a priority undrafted free agent.

Spending just one season with the Racers, Anderson completed 258 of his 429 attempts (60%) for 2,864 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also threw 15 interceptions.
As a runner, Anderson rushed for 225 yards and five touchdowns on 82 attempts.
Prior to his time at Murray State, Anderson played QB for Buffalo, Diablo Valley and San Diego State.
Miles Brown — DL, Wofford
Wofford Terriers defensive lineman Miles Brown has signed on as a priority undrafted free agent with the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-2, 320-pound lineman started 12 games last season for the Terriers, leading the team in tackles for loss (9.5) and sacks (5.0). As a unit, the defense was ranked first in the Southern Conference in run stopping.
For his efforts, Brown earned All-Southern Conference First Team honors.
In four seasons with Wofford, Brown started 49 of the 50 games he appeared in, making 174 total tackles, 38.0 tackles for loss, 13.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. He also recorded two passes defensed.
Jerome Washington — TE, Rutgers
Washington started 15 games for the Scarlett Knights, catching 39 balls for 484 yards and one touchdown.
He was named to the 2018 preseason John Mackey Award watch list for the nation’s top tight end.
Immanuel Turner — DL, Louisiana Tech
Turner had 58 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and five sacks in 45 career games for the Bulldogs.
William Sweet — OL, North Carolina
Sweet received UNC’s offensive lineman of the week award three times in 2018.
He started 10 games at left tackle in 2018 for an offensive line that allowed only 10 sacks all season.
Dante Booker — LB, Ohio State
Booker had 74 career tackles for the Buckeyes over his 46 career games that included seven starts.
Booker was the 2013 Mr. Football in the state of Ohio and was one of the top recruits in the nation coming out of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, the same school that produced LeBron James.
