With Camp Tontozona just two weeks away and the second season of the Herm Edwards era on the horizon, Arizona State football hopes to see improvement from a 7-6 record last season.

Oddsmakers at FanDuel have set ASU’s chance for improvement pretty close to even money.

The Sun Devils over/under win total was set at 7.5 wins with a +125 chance at the over and -145 chance at the under. That means that if you bet $100 that they will win eight or more games you will win $125 and you would need to bet $145 to win $100 if you think they will win less than eight games.

The odds say that ASU is more likely to finish the season with under eight wins.

ASU has only five road games on its schedule this season compared to six in 2018.

The Devils finished second in the Pac-12 South with a 5-4 conference record and fell to Fresno State in the Las Vegas Bowl last season.

The last time ASU finished with more than eight wins was in 2014 when it went 10-3.

Arizona’s win total was set at seven with -108 odds at both the over and under.

The Wildcats finished 5-7 last season, the first under head coach Kevin Sumlin.

The last time Arizona finished with more than seven wins was also 2014 when it went 10-4.
