NFL analyst Mark Schlereth joined 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Bickley & Marotta last week and said he had first-hand conversations with several members of the Arizona Cardinals offensive line, noting they were unhappy with the playcalling.

Offensive tackle D.J. Humphries addressed Schlereth’s claim on Burns & Gambo Monday.

“I don’t know who that guy is, and I say that with the utmost respect,” he said. “I’ve never met him and I don’t know where he got those quotes from or who told him anything like that but everybody in that o-line room is on one accord.

“We know all the bumps and bruises that we’re gonna have to go through with a rookie quarterback and a new head coach, but nobody’s pissed off. Everybody is dialed in, everybody is ready to go — we don’t have any of those personalities in that room.”

Humphries said the offensive line room was “in disarray” over that information coming out and he said he has “no clue where that information is coming from and I really don’t like it.”

“Personally I just don’t like words being put in our mouths,” Humphries said. “That’s just how I was brought up. If you can say something about one of us, or say something that one of us said, then when we get in front of you, me as a leader, I need you to point me in the direction of the guy who said that.

“Now, if it was (expletive) then say that I lied and say it was (expletive) but if you can’t tell me who it was, I don’t wanna hear anything else out of you.”

Schlereth’s comments came the week before the Cardinals offensive line had arguably its best performance of the season in a win over the New York Giants, with the running game amounting to 156 total yards and Kyler Murray being sacked only twice.
