Swearinger was cut by the Cardinals in September after starting the team’s first four games of the season.
The seven-year veteran out of South Carolina struggled for Arizona. Swearinger was supposed to play a big role in the team’s secondary but allowed a passer rating of 145.3 when he was targeted, per Pro Football Focus.
This season was his third stint with the Cardinals, playing four games with them in 2015 before joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for seven games and all 16 games with the Cardinals in 2016.
The 5-foot-10, 205-pound Swearinger played two seasons with the Washington Redskins in 2017 and 2018 before his return to Arizona.
Rapoport also reported the Raiders worked out free agent Treston Decoud, who is preparing to play for the Dallas Renegades of the XFL.
