Draft day is here, which has also marked the unofficial cut-off date for a potential trade of All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson.
Peterson wants to be traded, he has reportedly been unhappy with the Vikings for some time and Arizona is on his “wish-list” of teams.
Vikings GM Rick Spielman spoke Thursday with Doug & Wolf Arizona Sports 98.7 FM and said the rumors to trade Michael Floyd for Peterson are “not true.”
Yahoo! Sports’ Charles Robinson told Doug and Wolf Wednesday on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM, “The only way this changes is if the Cardinals pick up the phone and say — or whatever team picks up the phone and says, ‘You know what? Let’s start with our first round pick. Let’s start talking.'”
Doug & Wolf continued on to ask Keim the last time he and Vikings GM Spielman talked.
“I haven’t talked to him since the owners meetings,” Spielman said.
The owners meetings took place in Phoenix six weeks ago.
