TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Athletics and Sun Devil Partnerships on Thursday announced a five-year extension with Bonneville Phoenix for Sun Devil football and men’s basketball broadcasts through the 2024-25 athletic year.

All football and men’s basketball home and road games will continue to be broadcast on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station (KMVP-FM) and/or ESPN 620 AM (KTAR-AM) as part of the ongoing partnership that goes back decades.

“We are incredibly honored and proud to continue our wonderful partnership with Arizona State University as Arizona Sports and ESPN 620 will continue to be the exclusive broadcast home of ASU men’s basketball and football,” said Scott Sutherland, SVP/market manager for Bonneville Phoenix. “We are also excited to announce that the Arizona Sports app will now be the exclusive streaming partner for Sun Devil Athletics.”

“Continuing this partnership with Bonneville Phoenix was very important to both parties and we’re very proud to maintain and grow our long-standing relationship with the Valley’s sports leader,” said Sun Devil corporate partnerships general manager Brett Wallerstedt. “Our fans know where to find our broadcasts and listen to our talented radio team deliver all the excitement of Sun Devil football and men’s basketball, as well as other great content.”

The 24/7 sports station features local talent talk shows and a variety of ESPN shows, and is also the flagship station for the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Football broadcasts will continue to consist of two hours of pre-game coverage, with the first hour being hosted by Jordan Simone, Sun Devil defensive back from 2013-15, and Jeff Munn. On home game days, this “Tailgate Pre-Game Show” is hosted live from Pitchforks & Corks at the Sun Devil Marketplace on College Avenue, where fans can interact with Simone, Munn and the show’s guests during breaks and win prizes throughout the hour.

During the second hour of pre-game coverage, “Countdown to Kickoff,” the Voice of the Sun Devils, Tim Healey, joins the broadcast along with Sun Devil quarterback from 1984-87, Rose Bowl champion and color analyst Jeff Van Raaphorst. For the play-by-play portion of the broadcast, you’ll continue to hear from Healey and Van Raaphorst from the booth, and Simone from the field. Munn rejoins the broadcast post-game as host of “Devil Talk,” the call-in portion of the post-game show.

Head football coach Herm Edwards will also continue to join Healey every week throughout the football season for “All Aboard” live from The Lodge Sasquatch Kitchen in Tempe. It will air on 98.7 FM Arizona Sports Station and ESPN 620 AM.

Men’s basketball broadcasts consist of a 30-minute pre-game show, play-by-play, and a 30-minute post-game show, all hosted by Healey and Sun Devil guard from 1999-2003 and color analyst Kyle Dodd.

Arizona Sports also carries in-season weekly coach’s call-in shows with Edwards and men’s basketball head coach Bobby Hurley. Tune in to the “Sun Devil Blitz with Coach Herm Edwards” Monday mornings from 8:30 – 8:45 a.m. during football season and “Fast Break with Coach Bobby Hurley” Tuesdays from 9:30 – 9:45 a.m. throughout the men’s basketball season.

The Arizona Sports app and ArizonaSports.com will also exclusively stream a selection of Arizona State hockey and softball games.

Additionally, new podcasts, including one with vice president for university athletics Ray Anderson, will appear on the Arizona Sports app.
