The Arizona Cardinals announced on Saturday they’re adding four players to the team’s active roster.
Defensive lineman Michael Dogbe was elevated off the practice squad as a standard elevation, while running back D.J. Foster and cornerback Jace Whittaker were elevated off the practice squad as COVID-19 replacements.
Tight end Maxx Williams was activated from injured reserve.
In a corresponding move, the Cardinals released tight end Jordan Thomas.
Both Foster (ASU) and Whittaker (Arizona) are in-state collegiate products, while Dogbe played at Temple and Williams played at Minnesota.
Williams was placed on IR on Sept. 21.
He played in all 16 of the Cardinals’ games a year ago, posting 15 receptions, 202 receiving yards and a touchdown in that time.
The Cardinals host the Miami Dolphins at 2:25 p.m. Arizona time on Sunday at State Farm Stadium.
