The Arizona Wildcats will give playing a season opener another try this week, this time against the No. 20 USC Trojans in a nationally televised slot.
Arizona will host USC for a 1:30 p.m. MST kickoff that will air on FOX.
The Trojans come off a 28-27 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils, which required a two-touchdown rally in the final three minutes last Saturday. That game also was broadcast on FOX in a 10 a.m. MST time slot.
The Wildcats’ scheduled 2020 debut against Utah was scrapped because the Utes suffered from coronavirus cases that reduced the roster size.
The Pac-12, which set up a seven-game season, only played four of six games in Week 1 after multiple coronavirus positives for Utah and the California Golden Bears, the latter of whom were scheduled to face the Washington Huskies.
For Week 2, the conference shifted Utah’s game at UCLA from Friday to Saturday to account for the Utes’ rising COVID-19 cases.
All of the Pac-12 games this week will appear on either FOX, FS1 or ESPN 2.
Pac-12 football Week 2 schedule – Saturday, Nov. 14
Colorado at Stanford – 1:30 p.m. (ESPN2)
No. 20 USC at Arizona – 1:30 p.m. (FOX)
