Dave Pasch surely thought he was calling what would be the end of a back-breaking loss for the Arizona Cardinals against the Buffalo Bills.

You can hear it in Pasch’s voice as he relayed Kyler Murray’s play from the Bills’ 43-yard line with Arizona down four and just 11 seconds remaining. The Bills, 23 seconds earlier in game time, had just taken the lead via Josh Allen’s 21-yard dime to Stefon Diggs.

Those last-second Hail Marys rarely work out, hence the name, but it’s different when DeAndre Hopkins is the target.

Hopkins’ 43-yard touchdown grab over three Bills defenders to win the game is one of the few plays that will ever be better than the throw made by Murray himself, who rolled out to his left and threw a strike down the field while practically falling over.

Offensive tackle D.J. Humphries could not believe what he had just seen.

Hopkins, on the other hand, was cool as could be, taking a slight high-step jog toward his sideline before being mobbed by his teammates.

He asked for more approval from the crowd and it was granted.

An all-time great catch warranted priase from some all-time greats.

The Kansas City Chiefs were tuned in on their bye week.

Murray and Hopkins got in on the fun themselves in the locker room.

Patrick Peterson got his own exclusive postgame interview with Hopkins on the way out of the stadium.

And for those of you looking for the fullest of breakdowns, ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky went over two minutes to show everything that happened the play before and then the big one.
