Former USF quarterback Jordan McCloud will be playing football for the Arizona Wildcats in 2021.

The dual-threat QB made the announcement of his transfer via Twitter on Saturday.

McCloud started seven of the eight games he played for USF in 2020.

As a redshirt sophomore, he led the team in passing with 1,341 yards and nine touchdown passes while maintaining a 61.9% completion percentage (120-for-194) and only throwing two interceptions.

He also had 74 rushing yards and one score on 62 rushing attempts.

As a redshirt freshman in 2019, McCloud played in all 12 of USF’s games and became the team’s full-time starting quarterback in the third game of that season.

The dual-threat QB threw for 1,429 yards and 12 touchdowns to go along 283 rushing yards and four scores.

McCloud will be one of the many new faces within the Wildcats’ program as Jedd Fisch takes over as the new head coach of Arizona.

Jordan is also the younger brother of former Clemson and current Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud.
