Young happy to hear Upton rumors have been silenced

Trade rumors have been swarming around Justin Upton
over the last few months, but as the deadline approaches
most of the talk has subsided and it looks like Upton will
be staying put.

Diamondbacks outfielder Chris Young joined Arizona Sports
620’s Doug and Wolf Tuesday, and addressed the recent
trade talk.

“Those rumors are crazy, they’ve been going on since the
offseason and going into the year,” Young said. “When
you’re a
player like [Upton] I’m sure it’s mostly rumors. Teams are
calling, trying to see if there’s a way to get him but the
majority of the time that’s just not going to happen. I’m
glad he’s still here.”
