The receivers and TEs bring the fashion at the NFL Draft

Apr 29, 2021, 5:03 PM

No longer relegated to their own homes or agent-rented Airbnb’s because of the pandemic, a select few NFL Draft prospects in 2021 actually got to attend the event on Thursday night.

That means they had to put their pants on first and shoes on second.

For the first time in awhile, they got to flash their fashion sense on the red carpet prior to the draft at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

Unsurprisingly, it was the receivers who showed up with the most flash.

Alabama wide receiver Jaylen Waddle suited up in a grey plaid suit with a red-striped dress shirt and white collar.

But it was his “WADDLE” chain that popped.

He and LSU receiver Ja’Marr Chase were sporting shades — we don’t know the weather report in Cleveland but they looked cool.

Heisman winner and Alabama receiver DeVonta Smith came with a dark blue suit with gold accents that included a “DS” pin on his right should. He, Florida tight end Kyle Pitts and North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance opted for bow-ties.

Pitts wasn’t rocking anything wild, but his dark green jacket with tan elbow patches were class.

Lance, by the way, was the most well-dressed quarterback at the draft. BYU’s Zach Wilson and Alabama’s Mac Jones looked fine but were just missing a little something extra for their big day.
