If you don’t know anything about Rondale Moore, the Arizona Cardinals’ second-round draft pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, you can start here:

The 5-foot-7 wide receiver has serious power in his legs.

Shortly after he was drafted with the No. 49 pick, a video Moore squatting 600 pounds during his Purdue days made the rounds on social media.

“It was an easy pick for us,” general manager Steve Keim said on Cardinals Draft Center after the pick was announced.

Moore ran a 4.29 40-yard dash and had a 42.5-inch vertical jump at Purdue’s pro day. He is someone Keim thinks can be an “elite” kick and punt returner.

Despite the majority of his film being from his freshman year, there was enough to convince the league he was among the top wide receivers in the class. Moore only played seven games over his final two collegiate seasons, but as a freshman, he had 114 receptions for 1,258 yards, ran for 213 more and had 14 total touchdowns.

He was the first true freshman consensus All-American in Big Ten history.

Beyond the field, Moore was on track to graduate from Purdue in just 2.5 years.

With the selection, the Cardinals add another wide receiver to the mix that includes, at a minimum, DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk and A.J. Green.
