ESPN insider: D-backs wouldn’t get much for Chris Young

Sep 12, 2012, 7:13 PM | Updated: Sep 13, 2012, 1:12 am

Sitting five games out of the last wild card spot and two games under .500 with only 20 games left in the season, it might be time for the Arizona Diamondbacks to start planning for 2013.

With the emergence of outfielder Adam Eaton, talks of trading a veteran outfielder like Chris Young or Justin Upton have started to heat up. The D-backs will most likely look to add a shortstop or starting pitcher, two areas they lack depth in.

Upton is an incredible talent, there is no denying that. His name will most certainly bring teams knocking on the D-back’s door asking about the young outfielder this offseason.
