Whatever happened to the good old days, when Twitter feuds were actually filled with anger, hate and disgust?
That’s the question you’ll probably be asking after checking out the latest spat, which involves former University of Arizona Wildcats star Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and current Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka.
Apparently, it all began when Hollis-Jefferson, answering questions during the NBA Draft Combine, said Ibaka is the one player who he would most like to dunk on in the NBA.
“I don’t know if I should say this, because he might be, like, looking for me if I come down the paint,” Hollis-Jefferson said. “But I know Serge Ibaka is a big blocked-shot dude. So if I can get him, I’m good.”
Hollis-Jefferson didn’t stop there.
When asked to look into the camera and call out Ibaka, Hollis-Jefferson willingly played along.
“Serge Ibaka,” he said. “Serge, I’m coming for you, baby (laughs).”
Shots fired!
Ibaka apparently caught wind of Hollis-Jefferson’s comments, and fired off this response:
Lol I will be waiting for you young fella! Good luck in the draft! https://t.co/wZehxXL2Ca

In other words, challenge accepted!
Not to be outdone, Hollis-Jefferson responded to Ibaka.
@sergeibaka9 thanks man really appreciate it !!! See you soon 😠(Game Face)

Take that, Serge!
OK, not really. But we can pretend, right?
