The Arizona Cardinals made two roster moves at the start of training camp on Tuesday.

The team waived defensive lineman Ryan Bee and placed safety Shawn Williams on the active/non-football injury (NFI) list.

Bee played one game with the Washington Football Team as a rookie in 2019, recording one tackle after signing as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Marshall. He was released last year following training camp and spent the majority of his time on Washington’s practice squad.

Williams, 29, signed with the Cardinals in late March and played under current Arizona defensive coordinator Vance Joseph in 2014-15, when Joseph led defensive backs for Cincinnati.

A 2013 third-round pick by the Bengals, Williams was an everyday starter in 2019 and posted 114 tackles with an interception and three passes defensed.

He was relegated to a backup safety and special teams role last year after the Bengals got younger by signing Vonn Bell.

Williams posted 16 tackles and a pass defensed over 13 games in 2020.
