The Sun Devils are taking on the “Golden Knights” persona when they face Wisconsin on Thursday. Las Vegas is of course home to the Golden Knights, the city’s NHL franchise.
ASU will be wearing its gold Valley Heat jersey for the third time this season. The gold tops marked the first time since 1990 the Sun Devils wore gold jerseys.
For the first time with the gold jerseys, the Sun Devils will rock their maroon helmets. These helmets pay homage to Vegas, featuring imagery of “The Strip” on the back.
