People that play golf are familiar with blaming their clubs for mishits or missed putts, but Matt Jones took it to the next level on Saturday.
On the 12th hole of the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill in Orlando, Florida, Jones missed an eight-foot putt and decided that his biggest issue was the club.
The putter was then launched into the air and into the lake nearby, whether he meant to or not.

Prior to No. 11, Jones had not made a putt longer than five feet.
He also added a three-putt on No. 9 that might’ve added to this eruption.
With still seven holes remaining Jones was then forced to putt with a wedge for the remainder of the round.

Jones currently sits tied for 58th after finishing four over par on the round and four over par for the tournament.
