On the latest episode of State of the Sun Devils, an Arizona Sports podcast, Jesse Morrison, Jeremy Schnell and Jake Anderson are joined by Utah reporter Adam Markham of UteNation.com.

Morrison, Schnell and Anderson then discuss what they expect to see from Arizona State in new interim head coach Shaun Aguano’s first game at the helm.

Anderson mentions the new palpable energy at the first practice under Aguano on Tuesday, as well as other noticeable changes the interim has made during the training sessions compared to former head coach Herm Edwards.

He also breaks down how ASU will have its hands full with the No. 13 Utah Utes stout offense coming into Tempe on Saturday night.

Utah has the No. 27 total offense in the country, which is tied with No. 2 Alabama, with weapons like quarterback Cam Rising, tight end Brant Kuithe and running back Tavion Thomas.

The trio also talks about how the Sun Devils offense will fare against a Utes defense that boasts the No. 10 total defense in the nation.

ASU hosts No. 13 Utah in a Week 4 matchup to open up Pac-12 Conference play on Saturday night at Sun Devil Stadium.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on ESPN 620 AM / 98.7 FM HD-2.
