Taylor Swift knows Derrick Moore as the “Skittles guy.”
Arizonans might recognize Moore as “The Lemonade Guy” for his infamous chant (“Lemonade, lemonade, like Grandma made!”) at local sporting events. For that, Moore was named MLB’s top vendor this year.
Back to how T-Swift became a fan of Moore.
After her concert in the Valley earlier this week, Swift posted a photo of Moore on her blog with accompanying text.
Speaking of lemonade, did you see #MLBTopVendor Derrick got to meet THE @taylorswift13?! http://t.co/CdGyfqaiPQ pic.twitter.com/LEqjAopnwD

For those of you who have fallen in love with ‘Skittles Guy’ because of the video of a man passionately selling Skittles before my show on the Red Tour, I got to meet him tonight. His name is Derrick and he knows you guys are obsessed with him. He sells lemonade now and comes up with rhymes to sell it and just generally delights people in the crowd. I was really excited to meet someone who puts such personal flare into his job. Tonight’s crowd was unreal and I love you guys so much.
Um, Taylor, he’s always sold lemonade. It turns out the Taylor Swift section of the Internet — one that probably accounts for 50 percent of all the Internet and doesn’t have readership crossover into Arizona sports — better knows Moore for his unique sales of Skittles at a local Swift concert a few years back. This went viral.
So to clear it up: Taylor Swift Skittles Guy = D-backs Lemonade Guy = Derrick Moore.
Minds. Blown.
