GLENDALE — The Cardinals will be without the services of wide receiver Greg Dortch when Arizona takes on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
The wide receiver is officially inactive for the contest with a thumb injury. He did not practice this week and entered the matchup as questionable.
Head coach Kliff Kingsbury called the ailment more of a pain tolerance deal and considered the WR a game-day decision this past Friday.
When on the field, Dortch has shown he can make an impact in the offense, catching 34 of 39 targets for 324 yards and two touchdowns.
With both Dortch and Rondale Moore (groin) ruled out for Sunday, Pharoh Cooper and Andre Baccellia could be in line for added playing time.
Luckily for Arizona, Sunday marks the return of wide receiver Hollywood Brown from a foot injury that placed him on injured reserve.
For the first time all season, Brown, fellow wideout DeAndre Hopkins and quarterback Kyler Murray will all share the field at the same time.
Other Cardinals not suiting up include cornerback Byron Murphy Jr., safety Charles Washington, quarterback Trace McSorley, linebacker Jesse Luketa and offensive lineman Wyatt Davis.
As for the Chargers, wide receivers Mike Williams and Jason Moore Jr., quarterback Easton Stick, running back Sony Michel, offensive lineman Storm Norton and safety Nasir Adderley are all inactive.
Kickoff for Cardinals-Chargers is set for 2:05 p.m. Catch all the action over at Arizona Sports 98.7.
