Youngster has the best reaction to giving up a Little League World Series homer

Aug 22, 2015, 2:46 PM

There are a few things the Little League World Series is good for year-in and year-out.  One of those things is priceless reactions from the young competitors on the field of play.

Mekhi Garrard produced one of those moments Saturday.

With his Midwest Little League team in the midst of getting blitzkrieg-ed by the youngsters representing the Mid-Atlantic in Williamsport, Garrard channeled his inner Ron Burgundy in the immediate aftermath of surrendering a third-inning grand slam to Cole Wagner.

The “holy crap!” followed by a genuinely impressed look in the direction of Wagner is just the best.  Though his team was on the receiving end of an 18-0 drubbing, Garrard is the real MVP from the day’s action.
