Tight end Maxx Williams and return specialist Pharoh Cooper earned gameday elevations off the Arizona Cardinals practice squad and will suit up Monday against the New England Patriots.
Williams will play in his third game in a row after appearing in the first four games of the year and then being released and re-signed to the practice squad.
Last week, he played 17 offensive snaps and nine more on special teams. He has one catch for seven yards on the season and could see his opportunities remain for the final five games of 2022 with starting tight end Zach Ertz out with a knee injury.
Rookie and second-round pick Trey McBride will continue to take the majority of the snaps with Ertz injured.
Cooper made his debut for Arizona this year before the bye in a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He played 11 special teams snaps but none at receiver.
Cooper returned one punt and one kickoff in the game.
He previously played for the Cardinals in 2018-19.
