Jordan Bachynski’s latest attempt to make an NBA roster has been derailed.
The Detroit Pistons waived the former Arizona State center Friday morning, along with forward Cartier Martin and guard/forward Adonis Thomas.
Bachynski, 26, appeared in two preseason games for the Pistons, logging a total of six minutes. In a 114-91 win over the Chicago Bulls on Oct. 14, he scored six points in three minutes, going 4-of-4 from the free throw line.
Last season, Bachynski played in 18 games for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA Development League, averaging 6.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game.
Bachynski ended his college career at ASU in 2014 with 314 blocked shots, the most ever by a Pac-12 player.
