Nerlens Noel leaves tip-off, heads to the little boys’ room

Jan 15, 2016, 7:58 AM

We’ve seen quick substitutions before, but this takes it to a new level.

Philadelphia’s Nerlens Noel was set to jump center against Chicago’s Joakim Noah Thursday night, but had to leave the circle before the ball was tossed.

Not only did Noel leave the court, he ran right into the locker room.

Carl Landry replaced Noel and jumped against Noah.

The team described Noel’s condition as “light nausea” but he did come back moments later and managed to play 24 minutes in the contest.

Considering that the 76ers blew a 24-point lead, allowed Jimmy Butler to go off for 53 points and lost in overtime, falling to 4-37 on the season, we’re guessing Noel’s nausea got worse after the game.
