ASU tries to stay perfect at home

Nov 16, 2011, 8:27 PM | Updated: 9:28 pm

They say “Home is where the heart is.”

For ASU, home is where the wins are.

The Sun Devils this season are unbeaten (5-0) at Sun Devil
Stadium, yet just 1-4 away from Tempe.

“There is something to say for just being at home,”
quarterback Brock Osweiler answered. “You have the crowd
behind you. You’re playing on a field that you’re very
used to the surroundings. You’re not traveling. You’re
staying in a hotel that you’re used to. You’re eating at
the same restaurants.”

Osweiler and the Sun Devils will be at home for their
final two regular season games, including this week
against rival U of A. Should ASU win both contests, it
will mark just the third 7-0 home mark (1996, 1981) since
the school joined the Pac-10/12.
