Pete Carroll’s shoes are more fire than Steph Curry’s

You might have seen the Internet react negatively to Stephen Curry’s newly-released Curry 2 Lows this week. You might not agree with Curry’s assessment of “how fire they are.”
Curry trolled the trolls of his white-on-white sneakers by showing up to practice Sunday wearing a pair with “Straight (fire emoji)” written on them.

We’ve moved on as quick as Internet users and fashion-savvy people might.
But Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll has not. No, Carroll agrees that the shoes aren’t fire, and he’s out to prove it.
Carroll put Curry’s Chef Lows up against his Nike Air Monarchs, one of the brand’s least-heralded shoes in the fashion world but one of the longest-produced casual sneakers (they are darn comfortable).

Air Monarchs wouldn’t win beauty contests against most shoes, but thanks to Carroll’s Twitter poll, now we know. As of this post, and 15,139 votes in, Carroll’s Air Monarchs have 64 percent of the vote to 36 percent of Curry’s Under Armour basketball kicks.
The social science, via poll, tells us unequivocally that Curry’s shoes are indeed not fire.
Which shoes are better??
