Two members of the Arizona State Sun Devils are generating some offseason buzz.

According to ESPN’s Pac-12 Blog, defensive tackle Will Sutton and quarterback Taylor Kelly made the list of potential conference players who could become darkhorse candidates for next year’s Heisman Trophy.

Sutton has become a game-changer on defense for the Sun Devils, while Kelly shined in his debut season as the starting quarterback for ASU.

Sutton was named the Pac-12’s Defensive Player of the Year and was a consensus All-American.

Kelly finished second in the Pac-12 in passing efficiency last season and was tied for third in touchdown passes.

Others conference players who made the list include UCLA’s Anthony Barr, Stanford’s Kevin Hogan, Washington’s Bishop Sankey, Oregon’s Byron Marshall and Arizona’s Austin Hill.
