Walt Powell claimed by New York Jets

On Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals released their 2014 sixth-round draft selection, Walt Powell.
Just about 24 hours later, the Murray State product was scooped up by the New York Jets, according to his representatives.
Powell, 23, caught six passes for 106 yards during the preseason, including a 45-yard reception against the Houston Texans.
In a move corresponding to Powell’s release, the Cardinals picked up linebacker Thomas Keiser via waivers from the San Diego Chargers.
