When it comes to the Arizona Cardinals, confidence is not at an all-time high.

For just the second time in two seasons under head coach Bruce Arians, the Cardinals have dropped two straight games — the second coming Sunday in a 29-18 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

The Cardinals still own the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff pecking order with four games to play, but their sputtering offense coupled with a lackluster defensive effort in Atlanta has many experts moving Arizona from contender to pretender.

Here’s this week’s look at the Cardinals’ place in various NFL power rankings from around the country.

Week 14 Average Rank: 7.37 (4.05 last week)

Highest Rank: #4 – CBSSports.com

Lowest Rank: #13 – Washington Post
