Have you ever been to a minor league baseball game?
They’re all about some promotions, man.
I mean, we’re talking Win A Used Car Night, Bible Bobblehead Night, Bromance Night, Speed Dating Night and Peanut Allergy Awareness Night nights. That was just a random sampling of June 2014 promotions.
Next week, the Brooklyn Cyclones — a single-A affiliate of the New York Mets — are throwing 90s Night.
They’re using the evening to raise money and awareness for ALS research. And they’re making 90s TV giant Nickelodeon a staple of the whole thing.
So, in conjunction with the uber-viral ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Cyclones front office members took the slime bucket challenge:
