Golden State Warriors introduced to theme from ‘Full House’

The NBA is back and two teams from northern California got together in the season opener Wednesday night.
The Sacramento Kings hosted the Golden State Warriors and instead of giving the visitors cool, inspirational background music for their player introductions, the Kings game ops people chose the theme from the ultra-cheesy 80s TV show “Full House,” a show set in the Bay Area.
Was it funny? Yes. But it didn’t stop the Warriors from scoring a 95-77 victory. Steph Curry had 24 points and 10 boards and Golden State was fueled by the inspired bench play of Danny Tanner, Joey Gladstone and “Uncle” Jesse Katsopolis. See what we did there?
You have to wonder if the Kings will keep this up. And if they do, what will they play when the Suns come to town? The choices are pretty slim. There’s “The Medium,” of course. But we think they should go with the theme song to the only known cheesy sitcom ever set in Phoenix, “Alice.”
