P.J. Conlon had a wild week.
Being designated for assignment isn’t uncommon, but returning to the team that designated a player for assignment five days later is definitely unique. After tweeting out his thanks to the first team that designated him, the New York Mets, he amended his original tweet when the Los Angeles Dodgers let him go and New York re-signed him.
In a classy move, Conlon tweeted out his appreciation to the Mets organization for the opportunity and looked forward to starting his time with the Dodgers.
A huge thank you to the Mets organization for everything over the past few years, especially the opportunity to fulfill my lifelong dream of playing in the Major Leagues. I’m excited for this next chapter with the #Dodgers and can’t wait to get started!

This is when things got interesting.
On Tuesday, Conlon found his journey going full-circle when he was claimed off waivers by the Mets.
Conlon once again turned to Twitter, and made a few changes to his previous tweet.

Nicely done, P.J., and even though his ERA is over 11, he’s leading the league in Twitter game.
