Arizona State University linebacker Davon Durant was arrested in March on allegations of domestic violence and aggravated assault against his girlfriend, Kelsi Langley.
At that point, Durant — a five-star linebacker who attended Butler County Community College in Kansas — was suspended from the team.
Since then, Langley has recanted her claims of what went down on March 6, the day the incident allegedly happened, and also spoke to the media to defend Durant, saying, “Davon would never touch me.”
Thursday, the case moved forward.
Davon Durant pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Per the plea the other counts will be dismissed at sentencing.
