The Arizona Wildcats’ streak of being ranked in the Associated Press top 10 appeared to be in peril after the team suffered a stunning 58-56 at Oregon State Sunday night. But alas, the streak lives on.

The loss dropped Arizona (14-2, 2-1 Pac-12) to No. 10 in the AP poll and No. 9 in the USA TODAY Coaches poll. The Wildcats had previously been ranked No. 7 and No. 6 in the AP and coaches’ polls, respectively.

This is the 30th consecutive week the Wildcats will reside in the top 10, though their standing will be tested as the Colorado Buffaloes (Thursday) and Utah Utes (Saturday) come to Tucson. Colorado is 9-6 (2-1), while Utah is 13-2 (3-0) and ranked No. 8 in both polls.

Saturday’s matchup will be the first game between two Pac-12 teams ranked in the top 10 in seven years.
