Watch Herm Edwards’ first day on the job

Dec 6, 2017, 10:31 AM

Arizona State posted a video going behind the scenes of new head coach Herm Edwards’ first day on the job at ASU.

Edwards’ famously energetic and infectious personality is on display as he interacts with fans, boosters and alumni at a meet and greet prior to his introductory press conference.

Edwards was led through the campus at ASU by Athletic Director Ray Anderson and introduced to many of the employees in the Arizona State offices.

When Edwards was shown a replica game jersey, his dialogue with Anderson was priceless:

Edwards:  Is it a girls?

Edwards:  This is a game jersey? Bro, thats tight!

Anderson:  You know the technology, man, that thing stretches out, man. It gets real tight, its crazy, yeah?

Edwards was named head coach of the Sun Devils on Monday. Edwards’ last head coaching job was in 2008 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He has since been an analyst on ESPN.
