Kevin Durant isn’t used to being picked first, but during the first ever NBA All-Star Draft he finally was.
As the Warriors went on to beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 126-113, Durant was unbelievable as he got a triple-double and scored 28 points.
After the game, he told the world it was nice to finally be picked first.
“Well, finally someone picked me number one. That feels pretty good. It’s going to be fun competing against Steph, Klay and Draymond.” – @KDTrey5 on being selected first for #TeamLeBron and going up against @warriors teammates

This left the Portland Trail Blazers feeling apologetic for picking Greg Oden, whose career was tainted due to all of his injuries, instead of Durant first overall in the 2007 NBA Draft.

However, this will be the first time Durant will be playing against his Golden State Warriors teammates, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, since he made his decision to change teams and wrote the infamous “My Next Chapter” article the summer of 2016.

In the same interview on national television Durant said he was excited for the opportunity to play against them.
“It’s going to be fun competing against Steph, Klay and Draymond,” he said.
I’m sure people in Oklahoma City will find that news pretty interesting.
