Nebraska wide receiver makes improbable behind-the-back catch

If you’ve ever attended a basketball camp, you’ve probably been taught how to throw a ball high up in the air and catch it behind your back.

Nebraska wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp looks like he’s acquired such a skill, as he made an incredible play Saturday in the third quarter of a home game against Florida Atlantic.

Cornhuskers quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. threw a pass near the left sideline that was almost intercepted, but the ball deflected off a defensive back and Westerkamp hauled it in behind his back while miraculously staying in bounds.

The sophomore wideout had a huge game — hauling in seven passes for 125 yards and a touchdown — as did his team, which rolled to a 55-7 season opening win.
