The French National Team captured their second World Cup by defeating Croatia 4-2 on Sunday.
And man, did they celebrate.
Despite heavy rain coming down during the trophy ceremony, the youthful French players made the most of it, sliding around the field — at times with the coveted Fifa World Cup trophy in hand.
But even when the celebration was over on the field, it continued during the post-match press conference.
With French manager Didier Deschamps at the podium, players barged in with champagne and medals in hand to continue the celebration.

Chanting Deschamps’ name, the French players started to let the champagne fly, drenching themselves, their manager and the reporters in the room.
It was clear the youthful tendencies of the entire team took over during the celebration, but for good reason.
France’s first World Cup victory came back in 1998, just months before 19-year-old Kylian Mbappe — who scored France’s final goal in the 52nd minute — was even born.
But their youthful celebration is warranted, and even after being drenched, Deschamps had a perfect exaplanation for his team’s joyous outburst.
“They’re crazy,” he said. “But they’re young and they’re happy.”
