Arizona Cardinals rank No. 41 in Forbes’ 2018 most valuable franchises

The Arizona Cardinals rank as one of the 50 most valuable franchises in sports, according to Forbes.
The Cardinals check in at No. 41 on the list, tied with the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA.
That ranking for the Cardinals isn’t that high when compared to other NFL organizations. Of the 32 NFL teams, Arizona ranks 23rd in value at $2.15 billion.
They also rank last in value when compared to other teams in the NFC West. The San Francisco 49ers (13th, $3.05 billion), Los Angeles Rams (14th, $3.0 billion) and Seattle Seahawks (32nd, $2.425 billion) all rank ahead of the Cardinals.

The Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks and Arizona Coyotes did not rank in the top 50.
The NFL dominates in terms of total value, with 29 of their 32 teams in the top 50. Eight NBA teams, with the New York Knicks in seventh at the top, and six MLB teams, including the No. 5-ranked New York Yankees, check inside the list. There were zero NHL teams ranked.
The dominance at the top, however, comes outside of the United States in Europe with the top soccer clubs in the world.
Three of the top five organizations in value are soccer clubs, with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona ranking as the next three teams after the Dallas Cowboys at the top spot. Germany’s Bayern Munich (12th, $3.063 billion) and England’s Manchester City (30th, $2.474 billion), Arsenal (39th, $2.238 billion) and Chelsea (46th, $2.062 billion) are also ranked.
