The Arizona Cardinals defensive line was one of the bright spots in a difficult first half against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Chandler Jones recorded two sacks and Rodney Gunter added another despite allowing two touchdown passes to the vaunted Chiefs offense.

For Jones, his two sacks made him the NFL sack leader since the start of the 2016 season with 35.5. Jones moved ahead of the Broncos’ Von Miller who has 33.5 over the same time span.

He leads the Cardinals with 8.5 sacks on the season. Danielle Hunter of the Vikings came into the game leading the NFL with 11.5 sacks on the year.

The Cardinals as a team came into the game tied for seventh in the NFL with 24 sacks on the season.

Six players on the Cardinals are tied for second on the team with 2 sacks. Gunter’s first half take down of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes gave him 1.5 on the year.
