Because of ESPN2 we all watched video games, learned about ‘Going HAM on this core’

Most of us have played video games at some point in our life.
Hey, many of us probably still do.
However, chances are none of us were ever on TV because of our video game prowess, and there certainly were no movies about us (fictional or otherwise).
Times, they are a changin’.
Sunday night, on ESPN2, we were treated to “Heroes of the Dorm,” where video game players from various colleges competed against each other in a game called “Heroes of the Storm” for a chance to win scholarships.
The finals pitted Arizona State against California Berkeley, and though the Devils ultimately fell short, the matchup produced some of the best Twitter has ever had to offer.
I have no idea what I'm watching on ESPN2 right now… But GO DEVILS!! #HeroesOfTheDorm

It also led to the phrase, “Going HAM on this core,” which you are sure to encounter once again.
Thank you, ESPN2. Thank you.
