Adam Snyder adjusting to Arizona Cardinals’ offense

When the Arizona Cardinals lured lineman Adam Snyder away from the rival San Francisco 49ers this offseason and inserted him into the right guard position, it was in an effort to bolster an offensive line that has had trouble finding its rhythm.

While Snyder has struggled with the pass protection in the preseason’s early going, there is no reason to push the panic button yet. The 30-year-old veteran is still adjusting to the Cardinals’ system and adapting to his new teammates’ style of play.

“Right now I am just trying to get the playbook down so I don’t have to think about anything,” Snyder told Arizona Sports 620’s Doug and Wolf Show Monday. “I am still in the learning phases of the playbook. I think I’ve got it down pretty good but obviously this offense can be intense, so you’ve really got to focus in on the details and the little things and that’s what I am working through now.”

Snyder’s learning curve is understandable, but while admittingly he’s not where he needs to be just yet, there’s no doubt in his mind he and his teammates will come together by the start of the year.
